The Living Legacy Project: Stories
I LOVE stories. I always have. As I was sitting with a few lovely ladies, listening to their rich stories of pain, love, adventure and perseverance through crazy hard times and heartbreaking loss, I was in awe, but I also had a sense of panic. How would their wisdom and unique experiences live on? Many did not have children.
I felt convicted that I had a moral obligation to celebrate and share their stories. Of course, as a photographer and curator of memories, I insisted on photographing them and freezing time, for future generations who hear their beautiful stories. I now have 20 new precious friends and feel so honored they trusted me with their most simple and meaningful memories. (go to my facebook to see their gorgeous faces and hear their stories).
